A State Funeral will be held for former Attorney–General Dr Vanessa Goodwin on Friday 9 March at St. David’s Cathedral, Hobart at 2.00pm.
Dr Goodwin was highly respected by all sides of politics and the broader Tasmanian community. She made an enormous contribution to our state as the Member for Pembroke and Attorney-General.
Dr Goodwin resigned from state politics in September last year as a result of her battle with brain cancer, and sadly passed away on Saturday.
An official funeral notice will appear in newspapers tomorrow.
