Delivering on our commitments

The Hodgman Liberal Government is delivering on the commitments we made to Tasmanians in our 100 Day Plan.

Our first 30 days following the return of Writs has seen important progress made with the drafting of legislation that will help improve our health system, address Hobart’s traffic congestion, bring down cost of living pressures, recruit more teachers for our schools, and better protect vulnerable Tasmanians.

Our Building Your Future- First Year Agenda will be tabled in the first sitting week of the new Parliament and will further detail our Plan for the first year of the re-elected majority Liberal Government.

It will focus on delivering a stronger economy and more jobs, reducing the cost of living, building the infrastructure of the 21st century, protecting the Tasmanian way of life and keeping Tasmanians safe, and investing even more into health, education and Tasmanians in need.

Work is also underway on the 2018-19 Budget which will confirm surpluses across the forward estimates and the roll out of election commitments.

Only the Hodgman Liberal Government has a long term plan to build Tasmania’s future, it was endorsed at the state election and we are getting on with the job of delivering it and taking Tasmania to the next level.
