The Tasmanian Government understands there are legal proceedings against Cricket Australia by a former employee and is therefore limited in what it can say.
It is inappropriate for the Government to comment on matters before the Fair Work Commission and Labor would do well to show the same respect.
The Government is not responsible for HR decisions made by Cricket Australia.
For the record, suggestions that the Government has disclosed private information, not on the public record, to either Cricket Australia or Cricket Tasmania is wrong. Furthermore, the Government has not made complaints about the former employee with either organisation.
This is a matter for Cricket Australia and Labor should know better than to meddle in a private dispute – which is the very claim Sarah Lovell is trying to falsely make against the Government.
