As part of the Hodgman Liberal Government’s commitment to redevelop Cosgrove High School to year 12, I am pleased to announce the launch of a community consultation period to inform the future redevelopment of the school.
The $20 million redevelopment will include state-of-the-art learning facilities that cater specifically for Year 11 and 12 students, as well as giving them the best opportunity to complete their TCE and improve their future study and job prospects.
As a first step, the Hodgman Government is seeking comprehensive engagement with the Cosgrove school community, the wider community and local businesses to determine exactly what learning offerings and facilities are needed.
This redevelopment will provide capacity for over 800 students and help increase Year 11/12 retention and educational engagement more generally by providing education to year 12 in the heart of Glenorchy and at the doorstep of Glenorchy families.
