I congratulate the Speaker of the House and Liberal Member for Denison Sue Hickey on her appointment as the Speaker of the 49th Parliament of Tasmania.
The Speaker of the House continues to be a member of the Liberal Party, as such, Madam Speaker has provided a guarantee of supply and confidence to my Majority Hodgman Liberal Government.
My Government is focussed on delivering on our Plan, which was endorsed by the majority of Tasmanians at the Election.
