The Hodgman Liberal Government is a strong supporter of women’s involvement in sport, and Julia is a shining example of what women can achieve at a professional level.
Julia now joins the ranks of other elite cricketers including Tasmania’s own David Boon and Rickey Ponting as recipients of Life Membership.
As the coach of both the Women’s Hobart Hurricanes and the Tasmanian Roar, Julia is a fantastic role model for other aspiring female sports stars.
