Congratulations to Tasmanian food celebrity Ben Milbourne on being short-listed for a TV Week Logie.
Ben's Menu is now in the running for a Logie award for Most Popular Lifestyle Program.
Ben's Menu was partially funded by the Tasmanian Government, which gave $100,000 to the show as a way of promoting Tasmanian food to a wider national and international audience.
The filming is done across Ben's home turf of the North-West Coast and throughout Tasmania and the cooking is done from a film studio created at Milbourne's Spreyton home.
The Liberal Government backed the project as a way to help promote the state as a foodie and tourism destination and to help create jobs.
Milbourne rose to popularity after the 2012 season of MasterChef and he has championed his home state ever since.
I urge all Tasmanians to go to the TV Week website and vote for Ben and for Tasmania - http://www.tvweeklogieawards.com.au/vote/
