Community Infrastructure Fund delivers for the eastern shore

Residents of the eastern shore will benefit from a new walking trail from Midway Point to Sorell, which has been made possible through a grant from the Government’s Community Infrastructure Fund.

The trail will connect with existing infrastructure such as the dog exercise area, public toilets, sports and playgrounds, providing local residents and their families a safe space for walking, cycling, jogging, and taking the dog for a walk.

The trail has strong community support and I am very pleased the Fund will allocate $100,000 to ensure its completion.

It’s a great outcome and is just the latest example of how the Hodgman Liberal Government’s Community Infrastructure Fund is helping local communities around Tasmania meet their infrastructure needs.
