Christmas Grinch Bryan Green has promised Tasmanians the proverbial lump of coal for Christmas.
In his end of year interview with Fairfax, Mr Green has confirmed that Labor does intend to govern in minority with the Greens, if given the chance following the next election:
“Mr Green said the Parliamentary Labor Party cannot make the decision to form a coalition Government without party member approval.
“Essentially, what the party has directed us to do is not form any coalition which means the only way we can potentially govern is on the floor of the house where essentially each bill is tested on its merits,” he said.*
Previously, Mr Green had claimed it was “majority or bust”# for Labor at the next election, but the silly season has got the better of him and the truth has emerged.
Mr Green also admitted that the Green tail wagged the Labor dog in the previous Government, acknowledging that “some people would say I was a puppet for the Greens…”
The only way to avoid another Labor-Green minority Government is to vote Liberal.
