Tasmanian organisations looking to host National or International sporting championships could receive a helping hand with a grants program now open.
The Hodgman Liberal Government is encouraging eligible Tasmanian organisations to apply for funding to host a National or International championship event held before November 2019.
Not only will these events help boost the Tasmanian economy and visitor numbers, but it is also in line with our target of making Tasmania the healthiest state by 2025.
Applications close in March 2019. More information and guidelines for organisations can be found at www.communities.tas.gov.au.
