The Minister for State Growth, Matthew Groom has presented awards to twelve new Employers of Choice.
The annual Employer of Choice Awards recognise Tasmanian employers that demonstrate contemporary workplace practices and outstanding support for their staff.
This takes the number of enterprises recognised as Employers of Choice to 71, between them employing over 14,000 Tasmanians.
These employers demonstrate a commitment to supporting work life balance, employee engagement, communication, leadership and continuous improvement.
They create a rewarding and productive environment for their employees, leading to better services for their customers and encouraging business growth.
Employers of Choice are leaders in the community, setting an example that inspires others and raising the standard of business performance in Tasmania.
