I am extremely humbled and honoured to be asked to serve in Premier Hodgman’s Cabinet.
Today is also a bitter-sweet day, with the news that my friend and colleague, Vanessa Goodwin will shortly resign and I would like to acknowledge the significant contribution she has made to the community. I will work hard every day to live up to the example set by her.
I have sought to serve my community for the past ten years, both as an Alderman and as the Liberal Member for Denison, and I believe that being a Minister is the pinnacle of community service for any elected representative.
I intend to continue to be a strong advocate of the Government’s long-term Plan and also a strong voice for the communities, businesses, organisations and people that my portfolio covers.
I look forward to getting to work immediately and working hard to make a real difference for our community.
