For four years, Bryan Green and Labor were captive to the Greens, dancing to their tune and doing whatever Nick McKim and Cassy O'Connor said.
We all know that it was a disaster for Tasmania and the community let Labor know all about it one month ago today.
But Bryan Green seems like he has a bad case of Stockholm syndrome, all he can do is continue to identify with the Greens and cling to his failed forestry deal.
The fact is the failed forestry deal didn't work. It was a political fix to keep the Greens on side and Labor in power and nothing else.
Tasmania's Japanese customers understand that the Liberal Government's plan for forestry supports FSC and have welcomed it. Our international customers, including the Japanese, also understand that Tasmania now has a Liberal Government that isn't captive to the Greens.
The question is where does Bryan Green stand on the new forest deal. He said we have a mandate, will he support our legislation?
