Bryan Green caught out with “fake” water and sewerage scare

Labor Leader Bryan Green has been caught out making up “fake” claims about our Plan to fix water and sewerage.

Yesterday, in both a media release#, and on ABC radio*, Mr Green made false claims about our Plan.

Unfortunately for Mr Green he was caught out, red handed on ABC radio.

Challenged by presenter Louise Saunders, Mr Green was forced to admit he was wrong.

Green: “Oh, my humble apologies, seven years. I, err, I took, err, the July figure from next year, and I think.., what did they say, two thousand.., err, twenty.., five, did they?  Err, I.., I just have to go back and have a look. But I.., I.., I apologise, seven years, but essentially, what they're saying to Local Government is that the dividends will be cut in half.”

In a media release issued yesterday he said “Will Hodgman says councils won’t be worse off but has confirmed their dividends will be cut in half after five years.”

Did Mr Green also issue a new press release correcting the five year claim?

Remember, it was only a few days ago that Mr Green was calling on a Minister to resign for inadvertently misleading a journalist and then correcting the record.

Tasmanians should expect more of these fake claims by Labor and Mr Green as part of their fake scare campaign.

Labor have no policies or plan of their own, because Mr Green is more interested in himself and his new fishing business 300kms from his electorate office, than he is in the people of Tasmania.
