The Hodgman Liberal Government is making the biggest investment in school infrastructure for 20 years and this includes a new $1.4 million kindergarten facility for Bowen Road Primary School.
I am pleased to announce the appointment of Morrison and Breytenback Architects who will design this brand new kindergarten facility with construction expected to start in August.
We know that well designed contemporary school facilities enrich and enhance the play-based learning experience for students and are also more appropriate for our educators.
Our students deserve modern learning facilities and that is why we are continuing to invest in school infrastructure with a total school capital program of $163.5 million earmarked for State Government school infrastructure being maintained over the forward estimates.
The Hodgman Liberal Government has made education a priority and these record investments in school infrastructure are only possible due to our strong financial management.
