On behalf of the Hodgman Liberal Government, I congratulate Linda Mason and Sandra Taglieri on their appointments as Senior Counsel.
This is only the second and third time women have been appointed to the role of Senior Counsel in Tasmania, which is a great result and testament to the skills, knowledge and experience that they will bring to the role.
Both Ms Mason and Ms Taglieri have a wealth of legal experience and I am sure they will fulfil the role of Senior Counsel with the professionalism they have shown in their careers to date.
I look forward to seeing them excel in this latest chapter of their legal career in Tasmania.
