2020 Tasmanian Volunteering Awards

The Tasmanian majority Liberal government is a strong supporter of the Tasmanian Volunteering Awards, and importantly the amazing volunteers who give their time and skills to help Tasmanian communities.

Volunteers are a vital part of Tasmania’s social fabric, and we encourage all Tasmanians to nominate a volunteer making a difference in their community as part of the 2020 Tasmanian Volunteering Awards.

The awards recognise the generosity of volunteers who give their time freely and provides an opportunity to thank and celebrate the important work they do each and every day.

Tasmania is home to thousands of volunteers who enable many events and services to operate in each corner of the State, without them many of these would simply not occur.

Nominations close midnight March 30, 2020, and can be made at: https://www.volunteeringtas.org.au/2020-tasmanian-volunteer-awards/

Finalists and their nominators will be honoured at the 2020 Tasmanian Volunteering Awards at Government House during National Volunteer Week on Monday 18th of May 2020.
