The Employer of Choice Awards are a great example of how government, businesses and the community can work together to create opportunities for all Tasmanians.
I am delighted to announce that entries for the 2017 Employer of Choice Awards are open from now to 9 December 2016, with the winners to be announced in mid-2017 after the assessment process is complete.
Tasmanian Employers of Choice create jobs in great workplaces and help to drive innovation and productivity, while the government ensures our training and workforce development system creates a supply of people with the right skills to support industry growth.
Tasmania now has 71 Employers of Choice, collectively demonstrating contemporary workplace practices and providing outstanding support for the 13,000 staff they employ.
The Employers of Choice represent a broad range of industry sectors and range in size from small Tasmanian businesses to large corporations.
This Government is proud to support the Employer of Choice Awards and acknowledges the significant contribution Employers of Choice and their employees make to the Tasmanian economy and communities right around our state.
