$100 million milestone in community grants

In an exciting milestone, the Tasmania Community Fund has reached over $100 million in community grants, provided to 2800 projects over 20 years.

The Fund is an important community asset that supports significant charitable, sporting, cultural and education projects in the community.

The Tasmanian Community Fund was established in 1999 after the sale of the Trust Bank with funds to be granted annually for not-for-profit organisations.

The Hodgman Liberal Government is a strong supporter of the Fund and the important work that it does in our communities.

On behalf of the Government, I congratulate the TCF’s Board on the hard work it has done to strongly support the Tasmanian community over two decades.
