The Breaking the Cycle Strategic Plan for Corrections in Tasmania, launched in 2011, is a blueprint for corrections for the next decade.
It provides a sound framework for corrections policy - a policy that ensures we target our resources to get the best response into the future.
The Plan aims to ensure Tasmania has a corrections system which continues to improve and delivers better outcomes for staff, offenders and the Tasmanian community.
It will help improve and expand services and programs for offenders so they can rebuild their lives and not re-offend.
The Plan also outlines improvements in facilities and infrastructure and how the workforce will be supported.
The Office of Consumer Affairs and Fair Trading aims to provide support to consumers when dealing with unsafe products or unfair trading matters.
