The State Government is committed to delivering a wide range of services to those most in need and the Human Services portfolio delivers many of these services right around the state including:
-Disability Services;
-Children and Family Services;
-Youth Justice Services;
-Housing Tasmania; and
-Office for the Community Sector.
The focus of the Government is on early intervention and better assistance in key areas like family support programs, and reforms in disability services.
The Government wants to make sure that services for people with particular needs – be it disabilities, mental health, or housing – have a safe, efficient and sustainable service system too.
