The Minister for Veterans' Affairs, Scott Bacon, today congratulated Chris Munday on his election as president of the RSL in Tasmania.

Mr Bacon also paid tribute to retiring president, Bill Kaine, who has stepped down after three years in the role.

 

"I congratulate Mr Munday on his election to this important position and thank Mr Kaine for his commitment and service to the RSL in his role as president," Mr Bacon said.

 

"I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Mr Kaine and look forward to working with Mr Munday in the future.

 

"The RSL plays a vital role in looking after the welfare of Tasmanians who have served their country."
